Award winning artist Albert Redelinghuys resides in Niew-Bethesda in the heart of the Karoo. Albert is known for his realistic unique landscapes and still life paintings.
A nature lover that captures moments and breath taking scenes in his paintings.
Pretoria based artist Bronwen Schalkwyk depicts the evanescent quality of light that turns objects into kaleidoscopes of scintillating colours and shapes. The abundant beauty of small treasures found in nature and the world around her are her inspiration.
“I aspire to paint a painting of joyful colour and beauty that can be uplifting in the somewhat difficult times that we live in.”
Corina Lemmer is an artist living on a farm in Winterton, KwaZulu-Natal.
Her work ranges from oil, watercolour and embroidery by hand or sewing machine. She combines this with beadwork done by Ngoneni Kubheka, with her own crochet work, woven grass items, porcelain and rusted metal shards that are exposed in her old farmyard after the rain, as well as other found objects like feathers, thorns and bones.
The exhibition will be opened on Sunday 26 February 2023 at 11h30 -14h00
