entitled
‘Pasche Bestiarum’ – a symbolic visual narrative celebrating Easter
This delightful exhibition is aimed at celebrating Easter.
This bestiary illustrates the symbolic eyewitness account of animals, insects and plants present during the life journey of Christ and inspired by medieval bestiary tradition to use symbolism and allegory to impart moral lessons with illustrations of animals.
The allusive symbolism of animals mentioned in the Bible is used in an unconventional approach to illustrate the narrative of this liturgical period.
The exhibition can be viewed from Sunday 15 March 2020 and will conclude on Wednesday 17 June 2020
